There have been a few times black has starred and been recognized in movies. It follows Glory (Edward Zwick, 1989) a movie tribute to 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment, the Union Army's first African-American regiment in the American Civil War. It is one of my all-time favorite movies and also my favorite Denzel Washington's performance so far. Indeed, Denzel won the oscar for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. Morgan Freeman is magnificent, too.
En unas cuantas ocasiones la presencia y cultura negras se han destacado y sido reconocidas en el cine. A continuación Días de Gloria, un tributo en forma de película al 54 de Massachusetts, el primer regimiento de infantería afroamericano de la Unión en la Guerra Civil Americana. Es una de mis películas favoritas de todos los tiempos y también mi mejor actuación de Denzel Washington hasta la fecha. No en balde le ganó el Óscar a Mejor Actor de Reparto. Morgan Freeman está soberbio también.

EDIT 05/01/21. AFTERMATH. Best Actor winner missed the #Oscars2021 (and the #Oscars lose audience year after year). Is Sir #AnthonyHopkins also tired and bored of paying the tolls to gender, race and left-wing radicals?
