The Exorcist (1973) original poster has become a pop art icon. Max also starred in many other emblematic films, Ingmar Bergman's The Seventh Seal (1957), Sydney Pollack's Three Days of the Condor (1975), John Huston's Escape to Victory (1981), John Milius's Conan the Barbarian (1982), David Lynch's Dune (1984), Franco Rossi's Quo Vadis? (1985), Steven Spielberg's Minority Report (2002), Martin Scorsese's Shutter Island (2010), Ridley Scott's Robin Hood (2010), and J. J. Abrams's Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015). He also was in Game of Thrones series (2015) and was Esbern's voice in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (2011), Bethesda Softworks.

Like the rest of the actors in The Exorcist, Max Von Sydow was an important character in the world of cinema. When I read the book of this movie, I was surprised because the story had happened in real life and that was an inspiration to his author, who was obsessed with the real story. I hope that the cinema will show the world iconic films and characters like this movie.
