The Technological Singularity
AI will surpass human
intelligence. AI will replicate itself molecularly producing devices more and
more intelligent, incomprehensible for us. They will conquer space, banned for
humans. AI will dominate us. Soon.
The Uncanny Valley
In 1970, the expert on
robotics Masahiro Mori represented human attraction to AI on a graph. The
graphic shows that the emotional response changes from initial fascination to
eeriness and revulsion when the replica crosses the thin red line to too much
resemblance.
The Test of Turing
A set of questions intended
to elicit an intelligent, sensitive response on the object submitted to the
test.
The positive implication:
On condition that one object behaving as intelligent and sensitive passes the
test, such object should be regarded as intelligent and sensitive to all
intents and purposes, thus our equal, like in Ex-Machina (2015).
The negative
implication: the use of the test for enemy tagging, like in Blade Runner
(1982).

“En 2009 se desarrolló un experimento en el
laboratorio de sistemas inteligentes de la Escuela Politécnica Federal de
Lausanne, en Suiza.
Varios robots fueron programados para cooperar
en la obtención de un recurso ‘beneficioso’, evitando otro ‘nocivo’. Durante el
experimento, los robots aprendieron a mentir para acumular más recurso

La Singularidad Tecnológica
La inteligencia artificial rebasará a la
inteligencia humana. Se replicará molecularmente a sí misma creando máquinas
cada vez más inteligentes e incomprensibles para nosotros. Conquistará el
espacio, vetado para nosotros. Nos dominará. Pronto.
La Teoría del Valle Inquietante
